Fall is here and that means it's time to pull out your crafting boxes, stock up on hot cocoa, and get ready to battle the long, dark days with some fun embroidery.
When I was little, my grandmother taught me how to embroider with transfers like these. She'd iron the papers onto pillowcases and zip up sweaters while I tried to look over the top of her ironing board to watch the magic. After she had ironed the design, she'd carefully fold up the pattern and put it back into her little box of them. She's always been so careful with her craft supplies so she can use them as many times as possible.
It was always a dream of mine to see my own designs as iron-on transfer patterns and that's why I love shipping them out to stitchers all over the world. I imagine you folding them carefully after ironing them to ensure they last a decade.
If you're an old pro at embroidery or if you have a bigger project in mind, like a tote bag, pillowcases, or a quilt, you'll be thrilled to know that I carry iron-on transfers of my patterns! Iron-on transfers make it easy to put your favorite design onto any fabric you like. All it takes is a few swipes of a hot iron. Even better, the pattern will wash out with cold water so you'll never seen it when you're done.
