Neon cat skulls

This month's club design is all about Halloween and this year I couldn't resist doing a skeleton. Except, it's a neon cat skeleton so that makes it five times cooler!

There are several fun ways you can jazz up your skull. You can stitch it completely in back stitches like I did to set a stark and moody scene.

Or you can fill in the teeth like my test stitcher did with an outlined satin stitch. Those are some bold chompers. Haha. I keep feeling like it has a grill and that makes me love it even more.

Want another idea? You can't grow too wrong with glow-in-the-dark thread. But be warned, it's a bit nasty to stitch with since it's synthetic. However, it does glow in the dark so that tends to offset the frustration.

I can't wait to see how you customize your skull. Be sure to share it with me on Instagram (@poplushembroidery) so I can post it in my stories.
